’Tis the Season…Who had the most impact on your life this year?

‘Tis the season when we look to the future and think about the past…

We all take a few moments to ponder our accomplishments and think about the future. It is natural when we are getting ready to turn the page on another calendar year.

Some of things we often ask ourselves:

Was it a memorable year?
What will I do next year?

How about the question I was asked at an event last year…
Who had the most impact on your life this year?

Wow…that took a few minutes of reflection and it really had me thinking about not only what I had accomplished but WHO had helped me along the way…

I’m sure you’ll agree that your greatest accomplishments involve others who collaborate on our plans and help to achieve results. They contribute in varying degrees.

I often think about the pieces of a puzzle…

This question has changed the way I think about planning for the future because I also include a laundry list of would be collaborators.

So, instead of the usual list of goals or resolutions why not add the people who may be able to help you achieve your new brand of success.

I’ll bet you will be surprised to see who you rely on, lean on and perhaps even chat with when your getting ready to tackle something new.

This is a great way to recalibrate your list and recognize the people who have helped you along the way.

I’ll bet it will influence the connections in your tribe and next year wouldn’t it be nice to see a few new names on your gratitude list!

From all of us at The Mechanics of FLOW2 we would like to wish you a safe and happy holiday season.

We look forward to meeting you in 2019 and sharing the resources we have developed to assist with creating your new list of “hairy audacious goals”
